Entertaining boys can be expensive, dirty or difficult, but my nephews are usually easy to please. Isaac and Caleb helped me test out the Stomp Rocket on a breezy, but beautiful Saturday afternoon.

As the wife of an avid hunter and outdoor man, I spend far more than my fair share of nights under the stars. I’m not complaining about it… well, maybe. I don’t mind a nice cool night of staring at the stars snuggled up next to my husband, but I do hate being too cold, too hot or eaten alive by bugs!

When my sweet miniature dachshund Lily was about 6 months old, she broke her hind leg. Since then, she limps or carries that leg when its cold outside, the weather changes, its raining or she over exerts herself. More than once I’ve found myself searching for pumpkin pie spice or chili powder and not finding it. I’d run to the store, by another bottle and then two days later stumble upon the old bottle. Ugh! So aggravating!
I do plan on alphabetizing my SpiceStack to make it even better than it is right now! I have a bunch of extra room in my cabinets now and I can’t wait to stock up on other things. Hey, there’s a big ketchup sale… maybe I’ll use that extra space for my ketchup!

My family and friends know that I have an addictive personality and one of my many obsessions are office supplies! I love trying out new pens, pencils, staplers, calculators, notebooks, binders, paperclips, erasers… whew! I love ‘em all!
I was the lucky girl to get to test out a few great new products at Staples. First up were two Sustainable Earth notebooks. The first was a full size notebook great for students! The second, a smaller notebook that I’ve been using a ton in my office. It’s the perfect size for taking notes, making to-do lists and jotting down information on the fly. It fits right in my purse and the paper is high quality! Another handy feature in both notebooks is the interior pocket. This makes stuffing handouts and extra papers easy and safe. No more crinkled edges or lost papers!
The highlight of these notebooks is that they’re made from 80% sugarcane plant fiber waste. Why sugarcane? It reduces the need for harvesting trees, promotes the use of renewable resources and creates added value to agricultural by-products.
