Country Bob’s Review and Giveaway! Ends 9/23

Country Bob’s is a staple in my household and I was so happy to review a product a truly love. My dad introduced me to this delicious sauce when I was a child and I’ve loved it since! Trust me, I use it at least three times a week. Burgers, brats, fries, chicken, steak, cheeseball, pork, baked potatoes, etc. I honestly love Country Bob’s!

A little about what’s in the bottle….

In 1968 Country Bob perfected the sauce of his dreams. After years of giving the sauce to friends and family he began to sell it in 1977. The reaction was overwhelming just as it is today. Almost everyone who tries Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce becomes a lifelong user. And why not, it is the perfect complement to practically any meal set on your table.

It was actually October of 1982 when Country Bob, Inc. became the company, which remains today. Bob Edson, Terry Edson, Al Malekovic and Reed Malekovic formed a corporation with equal ownership. Since that time Country Bob’s distribution has magnified regionally in all directions from our corporate office located in Centralia, Illinois. Even with the tremendous growth we have not forgotten where we came from, continuing in our relentless pursuit of product excellence.

Along with our All Purpose Sauce we have expanded our product line to include BBQ Sauce and Seasoning Salt as well as Apple Chipotle and Honey Habanero All Purpose Sauce. With our fully automated bottling line we also have the capability of producing Private Label products for stores or restaurants.

It would be nice if we could claim responsibility for the success of the company, however, credit must be given where credit is due. Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” We have placed true ownership of Country Bob, Inc. in the hands of God. “Christ is our CEO” and He is an Awesome Boss!

Now you know the story, let me tell that you’ll love the taste. There’s a ton of uses for Country Bob’s as it’s labeled an “All Purpose Sauce” and it’s the magical secret ingredient for my cheeseball. Yup, the same cheeseball I take to work for all of our carry-in meals and get-togethers. They love the mixture of ingredients and pop of flavors that hit their taste buds.

While there’s a ton of great recipes on Country Bob’s website, I thought I’d share my super secret cheeseball recipe. It’s nothing fancy, but your family will LOVE it.

Aunt Maggie’s Cheeseball

2 pkgs. Philidelphia Cream Cheese, slightly softened

2 pkgs. Buddig’s thin sliced ham, chopped.

1 lg. bundle of green onions, chopped

Country Bob’s Original All Purpose Sauce

This is extra easy! Throw all of your ingredients into a bowl, then add a splash of Country Bob’s. Now, I say “splash” because it all depends on your taste. When my mom makes it, she puts about 2 tablespoons because she likes the flavor but doesn’t want it to be the main focus. Me, I double that! I want to taste it and love it.

Make sure your hands are super clean and mush all of the ingredients together and form into a large ball. Wrap it in plastic wrap, sit it in a cereal bowl and refrigerator for 12 hours. You don’t HAVE to refrigerate it that long, but I do suggest it. It allows the flavors to mix and the cream cheese to soak up all the goodness.

Serve with crackers.

Now that you have my super secret recipe, check out the others on Country Bob’s website. I absolutely love their meatloaf recipe and make it about once a month, if not more. It’s got an great taste that will keep the husband and kids asking for more.

Personally we’ve tried all of Country Bob’s products and our favorites are the original all purpose sauce, BBQ sauce and seasoning salt.

Last night the weather was perfect and I took the opportunity to grill up some burgers. Of course, I poured on my Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce to make the burger complete. Burger, cheese and “the Bob” is all you need for the perfect burger.
